Collaborative Pianist

Sydney is a collaborative pianist who is experienced in working with all voice and instrument types, either as solos or group performances (such as a chamber group, ensemble, or choir). Ney are well-versed in multiple genres, though ney work best when ney have clear sheet music (either completely notated, or the melody with chords). Ney especially love musical theatre, pop songs, and classical pieces.

Sydney enjoys being a collaborative pianist because ney prefer to work with other musicians - ney believe that we make the best music in collaboration with one another, lifting up each other’s gifts, hard work, and talent. If you need a collaborative pianist for an upcoming recital, exam, jury, event, or other performance, consider reaching out to Sydney Brouillard-Coyle!

Solo Piano Performance

Sydney provides solo piano performances for worship services, weddings, funerals, and other special events. Ney are most versed in pop songs, religious hymns, and classical pieces.

Private Piano Lessons

Sydney provides one-on-one private piano lessons for people of all backgrounds and experiences who are over the age of 12. Whether you have never touched a piano before, you played it many years ago, or you’ve been playing for decades - Sydney is happy to work with you to achieve your goals. This can include preparation for a special event, recital, or performance; learning basics around chording and piano accompaniment, or just for fun! Sydney can also work with you to prepare for practical piano exams at any level (pre-grade one to grade nine) in Conservatory Canada or Royal Conservatory.

Lessons are offered both virtually and in-person.

Watch

In addition to creating nir own arrangements and compositions, Sydney loves to play various pop and jazz pieces. Check out a fantastic Queen Piano Medley (arranged by Constantino Carrara) that was performed at Sydney’s Pride Concert in June 2023.

In Sydney’s first year of university, ney created an arrangement and mashup of various social justice songs that ney performed in collaboration with several other music students. It was entitled “Change the World Medley”.

Check out an original composition by Sydney entitled “The Pride Flag”. This piece is meant to serve as a musical representation of what each of the colours in the rainbow pride flag. It is part of Sydney’s “Pride Piano Suite” (which premiered in June 2023).
